AI system as recorded: A fake intimate video of two former Big Brother Brasil 26 participants, described by Metrópoles, SBT, Marie Claire and Hugo Gloss as generated or manipulated with artificial intelligence; the tool and the creators are not identified

What Happened

According to SBT's Fofocalizando (1 October 2026), a fake intimate video made with artificial intelligence, simulating a sexual relationship between Floss and a fellow participant of the 2026 Big Brother Brasil, began circulating on social networks on Thursday 1 October; SBT says the manipulated video does not correspond to a real event. Metrópoles (Fábia Oliveira column) describes the scene as generated by AI, and Marie Claire (Globo) says Floss's image was used without his authorisation to create a pornographic video generated by artificial intelligence. In posts on X that the outlets quote, Floss wrote that he was noting names one by one, that it would be no trouble to find and sue someone committing a crime against him, and that some people think the internet is no man's land because they have no name or CPF attached. SBT says he is identifying the profiles that shared the material and intends to take legal measures. Metrópoles adds that he shared a message stating that creating and posting an AI-generated fake intimate video is a crime in Brazil. SBT reports that the other participant and their team had not spoken publicly about the case.

Reported harm

Floss and another former Big Brother Brasil 26 participant were depicted in a fake intimate video that outlets describe as AI-generated and that circulated on social networks. Marie Claire says Floss's image was used without his authorisation, and Metrópoles describes both men as victims. Floss called it a crime against him and said he would sue (his X posts, relayed by SBT, Metrópoles, Marie Claire and Hugo Gloss).

Outcome

Unknown

What remains unknown

  • Who made and first shared the video, and which tool was used.

  • The other depicted participant's response.

Begusarai, Bihar: a 22-year-old woman says a man who had pursued her made a fake nude video of her with AI months earlier to blackmail her, then on 27 September 2026 he and a relative took her to a hotel room where she was beaten and raped and the videos were circulated; FIR registered, SIT formed, both accused arrested

A 22-year-old woman in Begusarai district, Bihar, told police, her lawyer and Dainik Bhaskar that a man from the village of her maternal relatives, who had pursued her and been refused, made a nude video of her with AI about four to five months earlier and sent it to her in an attempt to blackmail her. On the morning of 27 September 2026, she says, his brother-in-law, her neighbour, gave her a motorcycle lift while she was out collecting self-help-group dues and took her to meet him, and the two men led her into a hotel room 'to talk' about the video. In her account the room was locked, she was threatened with a knife, beaten and raped, the assault was filmed, a noose was put round her neck, and the AI-made video and the assault video were sent to WhatsApp groups, including her self-help group's; she hid in the bathroom until the man left. A video of the beating spread on social media. After she spent 28 September going between police stations, an FIR was registered at Begusarai Nagar police station late that night (case 451/26); the SP formed a special investigation team, seized hotel CCTV and the entry register, and one accused was reported arrested by the evening of 29 September (Prabhat Khabar; NewsTak). Dainik Bhaskar reported on 30 September that the main accused had been arrested while fleeing towards Nepal. The AI element rests on the complainant's account; the police statements read describe the assault video and the arrests without characterising the earlier video.

Rajasthan: a social-media influencer's video of a Ganga dip at Haridwar was manipulated with AI into an objectionable reel that went viral; she says she is mentally disturbed and cannot leave her house, and filed a cyber-crime complaint on 16 September 2026

A Rajasthan social-media influencer visited Haridwar with her family in June 2026 and on 6 June uploaded to Instagram a short video, recorded by relatives, of herself taking a dip in the Ganga at Har Ki Pauri wearing a salwar suit. About two months later she found that the video had been manipulated with AI into an objectionable version showing the same movements with her face and body portrayed 'in a shameful manner'; the fake reel went viral in the week before 20 September and drew objectionable comments and re-sharing. In a public appeal she asked whoever uploaded it to remove it, saying it was a matter of her dignity, that she was mentally very disturbed and had reached a point where she could not step out of her house. She filed a complaint with the cyber-crime police on 16 September 2026; the investigating Rajasthan Police Service officer said they were trying to identify who created and circulated the video and to have it removed, and that identifying the accused would take time. Dainik Bhaskar's English edition reported the case on 20 September in a 'Sunday Big Story' that does not name her.

São Paulo: a 37-year-old influencer used AI 'deepfake' tools to insert photographs of young women and adolescent girls of the Congregação Cristã do Brasil, taken from their social-media profiles without consent, into sexualised videos set inside churches; a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old filed police reports and the Civil Police investigate under the child-protection statute

A humorist and tyre repairer from Lençóis Paulista, São Paulo state, who posts on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok as an impersonator of a television presenter, used AI tools to turn photographs that young women and adolescent girls of the Congregação Cristã do Brasil (CCB) had posted from inside churches into videos in which they appear dancing sensually beside women in short skirts, with the presenter inserted and the influencer commenting on their clothes. A 16-year-old congregant and her parents went to the 8ª Delegacia de Defesa da Mulher in São Paulo in February 2026; g1 made the case public on 22 April 2026 and Folha de S.Paulo confirmed the investigation. The girl told g1 the photograph had been taken in 2025 in front of the altar of a CCB church, that she was very shy, had not wanted to be exposed and was afraid the exposure would affect her social life, and that she had stopped taking photographs of herself; her family sued for moral damages. On 30 April 2026 the mother of a second girl, aged 17, registered a police report at the 4ª DDM Norte; g1 reported that the exposure had affected the girl psychologically. The São Paulo Civil Police investigate under article 241-C of the Estatuto da Criança e do Adolescente (simulating a sex or pornography scene with a minor by digital means) and for defamation of adult women in the videos; the inquiry was sent at the prosecutor's request to Lençóis Paulista, where the suspect lives, and the total number of people depicted was still being established. The influencer admitted making the videos with AI, said through his lawyer that they were satire and criticism of customs in a context of humour, said he did not know some of those depicted were minors, denied in his police statement linking the adolescent's image to sexualised content and said he had taken her for an adult, and posted an apology video (dated 5 April by g1's first report, which says it does not mention the deepfakes; described as posted after his police statement in g1's second report). The CCB said it had identified him, was taking internal measures and supports legal measures by the authorities. No later development was found on 2026-09-22.

Lower Saxony CDU parliamentary group employee reportedly posted an AI-generated sexualized video of a colleague in a private staff chat group

Welt, dpa (in Tagesspiegel, news.de and t-online) and a press release of the CDU parliamentary group in the Lower Saxony state parliament report the following. On 17 January 2026 an employee of the parliamentary group posted a short AI-generated video showing a colleague in a sexualized manner in a private WhatsApp group connected to the group's staff. The Hannover public prosecutor's office had viewed the video, and a spokesperson said it was obviously an AI montage. After the group's leaders were informed (on 27 March according to press reports), the employee who created the video was dismissed without notice and a second employee, who had reportedly asked chat members in January to delete the video and keep silent, was suspended. The group informed the prosecutor's office, which said, as reported on 1 April 2026, that it had received no criminal complaint. On 9 July 2026 dpa reported, citing the prosecutor's office, that the Wennigsen local court had fined the former employee, who had made the video with the colleague's picture without consent and shared it in a chat group, 30 daily rates for a violation of the Kunsturhebergesetz, and that the decision is final. The colleague and the former employee are not named, and no statement by the colleague appears in the sources read.
