Valencia AI Deepfake School Case (Spain)

In July 2025, Spain's Guardia Civil identified a 17-year-old male student in Valencia who had used AI deepfake tools to create non-consensual nude images and videos of 16 female classmates, all minors.

The investigation, named 'Operación Deepface', revealed that the suspect had:

1. Used AI tools to generate realistic nude images and videos of 16 classmates
2. Created fake social media accounts impersonating the victims
3. Established a commercial website to sell the AI-generated images

The case was referred to Youth Court due to the perpetrator's age. This is the second major AI deepfake school case in Spain, following the Almendralejo case of September 2023, demonstrating an ongoing pattern of minors using AI tools for image-based sexual abuse of peers.
